Saturdays are tough. I woke up at 8am this morning to be at work to teach my junior high class of three girls from 10am-12pm. And then I had to kill an hour before my next tutoring shift from 1:30-3:30pm. I got home around 4:30 and took a nap. I’m working 8-5 on a Saturday. Man.
My cousin took us to this little “Abercrombie & Fitch” outlet in this alley. It was basically a little store filled with clothes from Target, Hollister, American Eagle, A&F, etc. I ended up buying three shirts because they were on sale. I seriously traveled all the way to this island to buy imported clothes from the States. What’s wrong with me?
We also watched Righteous Kill, which I thought was rather good. Then again, I’m not a movie connoisseur like Rotten Tomatoes. I will always love Robert DeNiro, especially after his role in Stardust.
Jen showed me this article in the NYTimes, a travel section article about food in Taipei. Now we know where to go.
Jen also has put up pretty amazing pictures of the apartment. It makes our place look a hundred times sunnier than it really is. The one below was taken by her, so go to her blog for more.
Thank goodness tomorrow is Sunday, and I don’t have to be anywhere at any time.
